As events unfold Geralt will remember some significant events from his past. It features a significant upgrade to the graphics and better combat mechanics. Witcher 2 is supposed to be less linear than the first game with multiple plot lines that can be followed. Geralt must track down a Witcher assassin known as the Kingslayer. It follows immediately from the first game after the attempt on King Foltest’s life. Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, like The Witcher, is set after the events of the Witcher novels on which the games are based.
